Hello! I'm Ritu

Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog! This blog was created as a diary to write about my travel experiencesas well as a place I could go back to re-live those adventures.  This is something I do as a hobby and to get away from the mundane humdrum of life.

An engineer by profession and mother of 2 amazing girls, I grew up in Mumbai, India and have been living in the USA since 1998.  Between education, marriage, kids, and work; life just took over.Now I am always trying to find a balance in life: with family, work, friends and my love to travel.  Thank god my handsome husband shares the same passion (and a great job to fund it).   

I have just started traveling (the last 5+ years) but have found an inner passion for traveling as well as planning.  I usually plan out every minute of our adventure and make endless itineraries as well as map out all the routes on google beforehand. Travel to me is not a race; I don’t care about doing anything first.  Travel is more about living the moment and exploring the world diverse with culture and cuisine.
